The experience of The Conjunction on December 21, 2020 is one of the most internally impactful experiences I’ve had in recent history. I’d rank it close to my time at Montserrat, a known vortex, and home to a Benedectine abbey on the side of a beautiful mountain near Barcelona.
I’m still not sure why it was so special. Maybe because I realized that millions of people around the world were quietly, without fanfare, climbing their own hills — looking for their North Star, here at Christmas, at what we hoped was the last stages of a tumultuous year for the world. It was a quiet journey whether you were seeking answers, or peace, or just a moment to reflect. It was nothing special — a hill near Cupertino close to a favored hiking trail — but it was everything special to the people around the world who took a moment out of their life to be a part of it. #blessed
