Monday morning (30-August)
The weather is on the cool side here in Bangalore right now. Yesterday was very mild – in the low 80s… and this morning by the pool is even a little chilly. ‘Swimmer Guy’ has returned and is doing his laps while I enjoy breakfast. Deepak was on his ‘off day’ yesterday and I was happy to see him this morning. He has just come through with a ‘special coffee’ for me. Very very fancy… cappuccino sprinkled with cocoa and cinnamon served with a piece of cinnamon bark to stir the drink. There’s a strong breeze, the air is cool, the birds are howling (they don’t chirp here; they howl), and I have my fancy coffee. I hope the rest of the day is as perfect as this.

Sounds like you had the perfect morning. I enjoy my Maxwell House, in my to-go cup, on my way to the office–as usual routine before I change vehicles and head out for my day. I think I will sip some coffee out on my back porch this weekend–my dog will bark and my cat will meow and new cat will howl at me. But the weather is supposed to be perfect! And …it is a 3-day weekend!
