No, literally! I arrived last night. Little flight connection delay/drama… followed by a sixteen hour flight and then an excruciating wait at baggage claim. Yes, my luggage arrived. I think the ground crew was holding it back just for entertainment to see the look on my face when it FINALLY birthed its way onto the baggage claim belt.

One of my guys flew up from Bangalore (they wouldn’t let me loose with a customer, no way!) and we met up with one of our comrades in Delhi. (Yes, some days ‘war’ references just fit.) Anyway, we went for lunch before a customer meeting and hence my comment about BACK IN THE TRENCHES. Dressed for a customer visit, here’s what my guys drug me through to get to lunch (that’s our restaurant – behind the fourth pair of columns; at least they held my purse while I teetered across the ramp on the far left side of the photo). And the butter chicken and gulab jamons were worth every speck of dust on my black patent heels! Back in the trenches… and back home!
