Andrea Bocelli – Amazing Grace | Live

Regardless of your chosen faith, it would be hard not to be moved by Bocelli’s performance at the Duomo Cathedral in Milan, Italy on Easter Sunday.  Twenty-seven million viewers around the world watched him take the stage at the empty cathedral.  To Bocelli, this global event wasn’t about the spectacle.  “It’s not a performance.  It’s not a concert.  It’s only a prayer,” he told NBC News.  When the free live-stream was first announced, Bocelli released a statement, sharing that he hopes everyone — Christian or otherwise — takes part in this celebration to bring healing to the world.  If you missed this on Sunday, might want to grab a tissue before you press “play”.
